This app does not collect personal data. Speech stays on the device. There is no account, analytics, advertising identifier, or network transcription client.
Apple may download on-device speech and translation language assets through the system. That download is performed by iOS, not by this app’s own servers.
If Apple Translation has no on-device model for a language pair, Apple Intelligence on this device may draft a translation. Treat that draft as experimental. It is not sent to us.
Optional Taigi captions use a bundled Breeze-ASR-26 model that runs locally and emits Mandarin-character transcriptions.
